- Analysis - Find what user wants, prepare questionnaire, take surveys
- Design - Panning by drawing pictures, figuring out challenges
- Code - Writing the actual program based on analysis and design
- Test - Test the program in parts and by joining the parts of the program. Fix bugs and make changes
- Implementation/Maintenance - Release the product, make updates
